On November 6, 2014 Cisco announced end-of-life for Cisco Switch WS-C2960S-48FPS-L and WS-C2960X-48FPS-L was declared as its replacement. The last day to order the affected product of Cisco 2960-S Series is November 6, 2015. The replacement product is powered with strong features than the previous one.

Customers may be able to continue to purchase Cisco Catalyst WS-C2960S-48FPS-L Switch through the Cisco Certified Refurbished Equipment program after the last day of ordering.
