SEESUO’s GPON SFP is a series of optical transceiver modules operating in Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON). From the Central Office’s (CO) Optical Line Terminal (OLT, with GPON SFP transceiver/module) a single strand of fiber goes out to a passive optical splitter where its signal is multiplied to maximum 128 different lines in GPON. SEESUO supplies OEM service and Third-Party(Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell etc.) compatible fiber optic transceivers.

GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is a type of fiber-optic access network that uses passive splitters to enable a single fiber to serve multiple endpoints. GPON is a point-to-multipoint access network that uses optical splitters to divide the fiber link into multiple downstream channels. An SFP GPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal) is a device used to terminate the fiber link and provide the interface between the GPON network and the customer premises. It provides the necessary optical and electrical interfaces to connect to the GPON network and the customer's equipment.
