Fiber Optical Closure
Optic Fiber Closure is mainly used for optical fiber connection and protection. This kind of box is suitable for the connection of overhead, pipe and buried straight and branch. The box body and base are sealed with hoops and rubber. The closure casing is made of quality engineering plastics, and of good performance of anti-erosion against acid and alkali salt, anti-aging, as well as smooth appearance and reliable mechanical structure. The mechanical structure is reliable and has the performance of resisting wild environment and intensive climate changes and serious working environment. The splice trays (FOST) inside the closure are turn-able like booklets, and have adequate curvature radius and space for winding optical fiber to make sure the curvature radius for optical winding 40 mm. Each optical cable and fiber can be operated individually. The product can be opened again and reused after installation.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
The body adopt modified plastic ABS, MPP and other materials which are high strength and corrosion resistance, have longer lifetime and excellent sealing performance.
It has 3,5,6, 7 or more cable ports in total, could let in and out numerous cables with round cable ports, and oval port.
Some closures can be reopened, which is maintenance friendly. It can work well in the environment of -40℃～＋65℃ and guarantee the good sealing performance.
Voltage Strength: under 15KV direct current, without breakdown or flashover phenomenon.
Insulation Resistance:≥2×104MΩ
Tensile Force:≥800N
Leak proofness: inflate the closure, making internal pressure to 100Kpa，then put the closure into the water over 15min,without any bubbles or pressure drop happened.
Impact Strength: can bear 16N.m.after 3 impact times, there is no crack on the body.
Level of protection : IP65 or IP68 as request.
